Mohit Gupta, MD

Mohit Gupta, MD joined Orlando Health Heart Institute’s Orlando Heart Center in summer 2014. He is board certified in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular interpretation, cardiovascular CT and internal medicine. Dr. Gupta received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed training in 2D and 3D echocardiography at the University of Alabama and residency in internal medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine – St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey. He then completed his fellowship in cardiac CT angiography at the University of California at Los Angeles – Harbor Medical Center. Most recently, Dr. Gupta completed his cardiovascular diseases fellowship at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Michigan, and also served as Chief Fellow during that time. In addition to joining Orlando Heart Center, he is a member of the faculty at Amery Medical Academy, a cardiac CTA training and educational program. His clinical interests include invasive cardiology, cardiac imaging, venous disorders, as well as preventive cardiology including lipid and hypertension management. Additionally,he has had numerous publications appear in peer-reviewed journals on the aforementioned topics and has authored several educational textbook chapters on cardiac CTA. He has also been a presenter at national and international conferences of scientific abstracts based on his research findings and is a reviewer for several esteemed journals. Dr. Gupta is actively involved in many professional associations including the American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and American Venous Forum.

We are proud to announce that we are moving to a new location in April, 2014. Our new address is 100 N. Dean Road, Suite 202, Orlando, FL 32825, where we will continue to provide our patients with the same full service cardiac care as before. The new location is a beautifully spacious building with convenient parking for our patients.
